Clint Eastwood groundbreaking Through Hereafter

After 50 years in the business of film, Clint Eastwood is always a surprise, one of which is a new supernatural movie that many people anticipated, the Hereafter. This film tells the experience of near death and is a dramatic journey from the Million Dollar Baby, which won an Oscar in 2004 or his role as a grumpy widower in Gran Torino.

The film that combines cool Hollywood visual effects and artistic style of European films, launched offering on the Toronto International Film Festival. Opened with a shocking scene of the tsunami waves which hit a holiday resort, this film tells of the lives of three men who lived in London, Paris, and San Francisco that brought together by fate.

Matt Damon plays George; a young executive trying to manage the talent does not always, which is associated with the supernatural. Cecile De France to Marie, the French television journalist who wrote a book which tells a traumatic personal experience. While is Frankie McLaren plays Marcus, a young boy adrift due to bankruptcy.

Eastwood directed film that Peter Morgan's screenplay was written. Peter seems to shift from a political focus which is always visible in his films, such as the recent work of recent Frost / Nixon and The Queen.
Hereafter is the ninth film from the director of the towering hero name because starring in cowboy movies 1960s, and later became one of the most respected filmmakers in Hollywood. Eastwood, who is now aged 80 admitted to not think too much about life after death.

"Everyone has their own destiny. I've never been up there. I do not want to go there before that time comes," he said as quoted by the Toronto Star. Hereafter will be screened in U.S. cinemas on October 22.

"Eastwood has made a film for the sensitive and intelligent people who are naturally interested in knowing what happens when death approached," writes film critic Chicago Sun-Times, Roger Ebert in his blog.

However, Variety magazine called it 'an odd but absorbing', saying Eastwood's "moving to a new risky territory with ancient grace and classic films that are strong ... That dancing right on the edge of silliness and even distorted."

At the premiere, the audience thrilled to see the four-time Oscar winner is present at the Toronto festival for the first time in two decades."It was good to come back here in Toronto," Eastwood said as she climbed the stage to introduce the film.
